How to download Instagram Reels from a public URL

Copy a public /reel/ link, paste it into Instafinsta, and download only the MP4 files the resolver actually returns.

Instagram Reels are short public videos. If the Reel is public, you can copy its URL from the share sheet or the browser address bar.

Steps

  1. Open the public Reel on Instagram.
  2. Copy the instagram.com/reel/… link in full.
  3. Paste it into the Instagram Reels Downloader.
  4. Click Fetch Media. Instafinsta validates the host, detects the Reel path, and asks the server resolver for real files.
  5. Download HD or Standard only when those formats appear.

What will not work

Private accounts, login walls, and removed Reels cannot be opened. Instafinsta never asks for Instagram passwords and does not invent a dummy MP4.
